Healthy baby teeth make for happier kids.

And they help kids do big things.

Healthy baby teeth give a child the confidence to smile and be social. Kids with oral health problems may worry about the appearance of their teeth. And tooth decay (cavities) can be painful!

Young kids need to eat nutritious food to learn and grow. Missing teeth or painful tooth decay can make it hard to eat healthy foods, like fruits, vegetables and protein.

Healthy baby teeth help your child speak clearly and confidently. Oral health problems can affect how they develop language and social skills.

Healthy baby teeth help a child be their happiest self. And getting dental care in their early childhood years helps prevent problems that can impact their healthy development and learning.

Just like check-ups with a doctor, your child needs regular dental check-ups to help keep them healthy and smiling. They’re safe and easy, and dental visits are covered if your child is on AHCCCS or KidsCare. Check your AHCCCS card to find out who your insurance provider is and contact them to schedule a dental appointment for your child.
